Overview: In this webinar, Jenny Ecklund, partner at Thompson Coburn, and Dr. Ghazaleh Moayedi, OBGYN, MPH will present on the legal issues facing hospitals and practitioners in the ever-changing landscape in the face of the Dobbs decision. Topics will include:

6. The maternal health deserts worsening as a result of Dobbs
7. “Zombie laws” and their possible enforcement after Dobbs
Ms. Ecklund is counsel to a number of plaintiffs in state and federal court challenges to Texas’s abortion laws, including the only successful challenge to date to Texas’s SB8, and Dr. Moayedi is a prolific advocate for pregnant people and physicians in the reproductive health arena in Texas and beyond.
