Earn CLEs on your own time. AHLA is pleased to bring you the 2021 Academic Medical Centers and Teaching Hospitals Institute CLE-eProgram. Earn credits for the sessions you watch, including CLEs, CPEs, and CCBs. The maximum number of credits available for the on-demand presentation is 15.0 for a 60-minute state (including 1.0 Ethics) and 18.0 (including 1.2 Ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.

The annual Academic Medical Centers program is designed to address the legal issues unique to teaching hospitals and academic medical centers and is ideal for for in-house and outside counsel who advise teaching hospitals and academic medical centers. The program includes a discussion on lessons learned from the initial response of the first US city with significant COVID exposures requiring hospitalization. An expert panel from Seattle, WA walks participants through the Ongoing Response of an AMC and Major Research Institution to a Pandemic. The program also covers what the new Administration means for AMC's, challenges of the past year and how they are planning for the future, vaccines and the role of AMC's, and much more.
