Valuation Implications of the 2020 Compensation Surveys (On-Demand Webinar)

Date: 01/13/22
Time: On Demand

Difficulty: Intermediate

Overview: At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, many providers were required to halt elective procedures for several weeks and others were unable to conduct patient visits in person. The impact of this disruption was a significant change in work relative value units (wRVUs) and collections in 2020 compared to previous years, which changes have been captured in the latest physician compensation surveys. This webinar will focus on the implications of the 2020 physician compensation surveys from the perspectives of in-house counsel, outside legal counsel, and a valuation professional, who will discuss the impact of these surveys on future Fair Market Value opinions and the structure of physician compensation agreements, as well as how these issues may be mitigated going forward.
