Overview: Emergency Departments receive a disproportionate number of overdose patients. The hospitals have to address what to do with these patients after treatment - refer to a partner entity for treatment, admit them as inpatients, or just release them. This webinar focuses on a Florida Hospital's solution, with support of the state's attorney, that has been effective. We will also discuss solutions at other facilities across the country. Panelists will discuss the legal issues involving care, referral and reimbursement.
