Overview: There has been increased scrutiny and studies on how tax-exempt hospitals provide community benefits reflective of tax benefits. In this webinar, a team of experts will discuss proactive ways of how tax-exempt health care systems can improve monitoring and compliance on the value such systems provide to the communities they serve. The agenda will include an overview of the current IRS Schedule H, findings from a policy expert who has interviewed multiple health care systems that developed novel ways to approach provision of community benefits, and questions and comments from a Johns Hopkins director of governmental affairs.
