Overview: Historically, the healthcare industry M&A space has been largely limited to hospitals, physician practices, and other traditional provider organizations. However, the past few years have seen an increase in unique deals, as well as in the number of deals including non-provider parties. In valuing these non-traditional transactions, appraisers have had to get creative.
