Overview: The first part of the 2022 Telemedicine Webinar Series will focus on the fundamentals of telemedicine legal and regulatory issues, and is appropriate for both beginners and intermediate-level attorneys seeking an update to the ever-changing telemedicine legal landscape. The panelists will discuss the overall legal and regulatory issues for telemedicine, including licensure, accepted telemedicine modalities, malpractice considerations, practice standards, prescribing drugs and controlled substances, informed consent, and multistate services. Each subsequent webinar in this series will provide a deeper dive into a specific functional or operational area within telemedicine.
