Overview: This webinar includes three national leaders in labor relations who are helping hospitals navigate the current crisis staffing conditions and conflicts with labor unions across the country. Our panel will provide an overview of the National Labor Relations Act with a focus on its application to hospitals and health care workers. This will include the rights of workers to organize and strike, as well as the rights of management in responding to requests to organize, hold elections, and requests for information. Speakers will provide an overview of the key legal opinions being issued by the National Labor Relations Board with a focus on those opinions that most impact hospitals and health care workers. This will include a discussion of the changes to prior legal opinions.
