Common Mistakes in Physician Compensation Valuations and Agreements
Time: 2:00-3:30 PM ET
Overview: Over half of physicians in the U.S. are employed by hospitals and health systems. Pursuant to federal fraud and abuse laws, these financial relationships typically require an opinion that the compensation being paid is consistent with or does not exceed Fair Market Value, and that the overall arrangement is commercially reasonable. In this webinar, speakers from three health care valuation firms discuss common mistakes they have seen in physician compensation valuations and agreements, and address potential resolutions. Webinar attendees will learn how to identify these mistakes and how to avoid such issues going forward.
