Overview: This program discusses ESG (environmental, social, and governance) for health care organizations and the related tax incentives made available to tax-exempt organizations in the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act. Our panelists discuss the key considerations for health care organizations in each of the three pillars of ESG. In addition, the presentation provide an overview of the history of the ESG framework both in the US and abroad. Finally, participants will hear examples of how hospitals and health systems are putting ESG principles in place today to establish their organizational goals and demonstrate their commitment to stakeholders.
