Overview: On June 27, 2023, the FTC and DOJ announced proposed amendments to the premerger notification rules and Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filing instructions.
The proposals could dramatically change the notification procedures that merging parties have used in the past and require the production of far more detailed information about the potential impact of a proposed transaction on competition and a number of other topics not previously emphasized.
This webinar panel provides an overview of the process changes and discusses the implications for future transactions in the health care industry.
