The AHLA Long Term and Post-Acute Care eProgram focuses on challenges unique to the post-acute care spectrum, including home health, rehabilitation, assisted living, nursing, and hospice. Sessions address:

  • Impact of legislative, regulatory, survey, and enforcement developments, as well as recent litigation affecting skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, and hospice
  • Compliance strategies relating to wage and hour audits, CMS’s Requirements of Participation, LGBTQ+ residents, challenges in the wake of COVID-19, and more
  • Fraud risks, including those relating to medical directorships, statistical extrapolation, scrutiny of home health and hospice, and more
  • Clinically integrated networks, joint ventures, private equity, changes of ownership, hospital at home, and other evolving strategies
  • And more insights from committee-selected experts, on topics such as reimbursement, transparency, and best practices relating to patient and resident care across the post-acute continuum

CLE: The maximum number of credits available for ON DEMAND is 32.5 (including 1.0 legal ethics) for a 60-minute state and 39.0 (including 1.2 legal ethics) for a 50-minute state.

Please note that the availability of credits may vary from state to state.  This self-study course will be available for purchase for approximately one year after the recording date, but state rules on duration of eligibility for CLE-credits differ, so please check with your state before purchasing self-study offerings. 

CPE: CPE credits are not available for on-demand. 

CCB: The Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® has approved this event for up to 32.5 NON-LIVE CCB CEUs based on a 50-minute hour.
