Overview: Health care remains top-of-mind for antitrust enforcers in 2024. As the year turned, the federal antitrust agencies finalized new Merger Guidelines and put theories into practice with new enforcement actions. In this webinar we discuss how these trends will continue to play out throughout 2024 in agency enforcement actions in mergers of health care and pharmaceutical companies, employment-related agreements, and pharma company mergers and conduct.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the new theories that the agencies are pursuing in their review of health care transactions, and the potential impact on dealmaking.
  • Learn the federal and state agencies' enforcement agenda in relation to employment-related issues, such as non-competes and no-poach agreements.
