Closed captions are available.
Overview: Post-Dobbs, abortion has been a prime subject of litigation across the country. This year, the Supreme Court considered many issues related to reproductive health, including (1) FDA's authority to expand access to medication abortion, (2) whether the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act preempts state abortion bans, and (3) whether the Chevron doctrine should be overturned. This webinar provides an overview of the Court's holdings on these cases, analyze implications for reproductive health, and touch on relevant cases that are moving up the lower courts.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how the latest Supreme Court holdings impact reproductive health.
- Discuss ramifications of overturning the Chevron doctrine.
- Develop familiarity with lower court cases that implicate reproductive health.
