Overview: OIG’s November 2023 General Compliance Program Guidance and several court cases have emphasized the importance of reasonable and fair market value compensation for health care transactions and arrangements of nearly all types. But it has become a recurring theme in government guidance and enforcement actions that sometimes it is not enough to merely have a report or opinion of fair market value, but rather, parties must have a determination that matches evolving facts and circumstances and is appropriate for the evolving state of the applicable law. This webinar dissects recent case law for what counsel, compliance officers, and consultants need to know going into 2025.
