Overview: This webinar discusses significant issues that frequently arise in negotiating physician employment agreements--such agreements represent a significant investment from the employer and a life-altering commitment from the physician. Speakers discuss perspectives of both the employer and physician’s counsel on use of standardized and alternative contracts, start date issues, restrictive covenants, payment for tail coverage, termination rights, peer review and hearing rights, and other potentially contentious issues.

  • Understand the position of employer and physician counsel on use of a standardized employment agreement and the importance of major terms in these contracts.
  • Learn about the business and legal ramifications of termination provisions in physician employment agreements.
