Overview: This webinar will examine the Form 855A, which CMS updated this fall to implement provisions of the Affordable Care Act regarding corporate ownership transparency.  As a result, all Skilled Nursing Facilities will be subject to revalidation using the new 855A form.  The form includes the disclosure of information about what CMS calls “Additional Disclosable Parties,” which is a broad category that could include almost any entity with which the SNF does business, including banks and consultants.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand who is and is not an Additional Disclosable Party
  • Learn a SNF’s duty to obtain information from third party ADPs
  • Develop strategies for working with clients in navigating the new 855A and CMS guidance.
