Overview: This webinar covers key legal topics in the medispa industry, including different corporate structure models to promote compliance with the corporate practice of medicine and increased state regulation. The speakers also cover legal issues to consider when counseling a new medispa client such as scope of practice for physicians, non-physicians, and non-health care practitioners; facility licenses; and medispa service-specific considerations such as in-office anesthesia requirements. The webinar concludes with insights on mergers, acquisitions, and the impact of private equity in the field.
