Overview: OIG issued its first Industry Segment-Specific Compliance Program Guidance (ICPG) in November 2024, which was for nursing facilities. This was the first “spoke” in the “hub” of OIG’s General Compliance Program Guidance (GCPG). In this webinar, attendees will hear from one of the co-authors of the Nursing Facility ICPG about this beginning of a new era in OIG’s compliance program guidance documents.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the background and purpose of the GCPG and the Nursing Facility ICPG
- Learn about key themes, important concepts, and best practices identified in the Nursing Facility ICPG
- Understand how the compliance risk areas and recommendations for mitigation addressed in the Nursing Facility ICPG can be useful guidance for not only the long-term and post-acute care industry segments but other industry segments as well
