Date: 04/09/25
Closed captions are available.
Overview: This 90-minute webinar explores the value of data in transactions. Data is essential for transactions due diligence such as evaluating risk and transaction value, including appropriate price or compensation. Although data may be essential for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in the process and outcome of a transaction, data management and governance in due diligence is a risk to the parties if not done properly.
Learning Objectives:
- Listeners will be able to issue spot and identify key data questions for each stage of a transaction, including letter of intent, due diligence, and closing.
- Listeners will have real world examples of how data and data governance may affect the process, outcome, and value of a transaction.
- Listeners will have tools to develop customized checklists to navigate legal and regulatory requirements around data at each stage of transaction, from letter of intent to closing.
