Overview: This 90-minute webinar covers key legal topics in the medi-spa industry, including different corporate structure models to promote compliance with the corporate practice of medicine and increased state regulation. The speakers also cover legal issues to consider when counseling a new medi-spa client such as scope of practice for physicians, non-physicians, and non-health care practitioners; facility licenses; and medi-spa service-specific considerations such as in-office anesthesia requirements. The webinar concludes with insights on mergers, acquisitions, and the impact of private equity in the field.
