Overview: As the Trump administration moves forward with its multi-fronted deregulatory push, what are the top priorities for payers, providers, and patient advocates with regard to compliance with the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA)? The webinar discusses: key implications of new federal guidance; federal and state enforcement trends; evolving frameworks for evaluating compliance for providers networks and reimbursement; and best practices for health plan fiduciary oversight of third-party administrators.

Learning Objectives:

  • What are the most common types of disparities that are being redressed through mental health parity enforcement?
  • What does it mean for behavioral health provider networks and reimbursement rates to be “comparable and no more stringent” relative to M/S networks?
  • How will enforcement by state regulators be affected by evolving federal guidance and enforcement under the Trump administration?
