Contingency Management for the Treatment of Substance Use Disorders: Expanding Opportunities and Compliance Considerations (On-Demand Webinar)
Date: 05/15/25
Closed captions are available.
Overview: Contingency management (CM) is a proven health care intervention with demonstrated effectiveness for treating opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders (SUDs). CM works by providing monetary incentives for meeting treatment goals, rewarding individuals for changing their behaviors. Despite the strong evidence base for CM as an intervention, it remains underutilized in many practice settings. This 90-minute webinar provides an overview of effective CM treatment protocols and key legal, policy, and funding considerations for CM delivery. Speakers also discuss integrating technology to facilitate CM and new and evolving funding and reimbursement opportunities for CM programs.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand key aspects of contingency management as a service modality for SUD treatment.
- Discuss legal risks, evolving guidance, and compliance strategies for CM.
- Survey evolving reimbursement and funding opportunities for CM.
