Overview: This roundtable webinar brings together legal and policy leaders to examine the operational and financial implications of recent Medicaid legislative changes, with a focus on hospitals and health systems serving rural communities. As new policy shifts continue to reshape reimbursement structures and eligibility standards, hospitals serving vulnerable populations are facing even thinner margins and intensified regulatory complexity. Speakers discuss expected changes to Medicaid reimbursement, challenges arising therefrom, and strategies to cope moving forward.

  • Understand the scope and details of the most recent Medicaid legislative changes and what they mean for hospitals serving rural communities.
  • Assess the financial and operational pressures hospitals are likely to face due to revised Medicaid payment structures, eligibility tightening, or waiver program changes.
