Overview: This webinar provides a practical, real-world discussion of how to diffuse compliance landmines, including AKS, Stark, exclusion/licensing, and various billing issues. Speakers use hypotheticals to explore ways in which conduct that initially looks problematic may not actually be a problem. Speakers also discuss analyzing situations to identify if there is a problem; taking corrective action; and if necessary, making a disclosure.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to diffuse common compliance landmines affecting hospitals, physicians, and AMCs.
  • Understand how conduct that looks problematic, may, upon further inspection, not actually be a problem.
  • Understand how to analyze a situation to identify if any problems need corrective action or disclosures.
