Overview: Hospitals sometimes encounter physicians whose productivity far exceeds national benchmarks - frequently ranking above the 90th percentile in wRVUs. This webinar provides a structured, multi-phase approach for evaluating outlier physicians and will offer practical tools to assess compliance with respect to these "super-docs," from clinical documentation integrity to coding practices, workflow feasibility, medical necessity, and more.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the compliance and business challenges associated with high-performing physicians.
- Review Stark Law basics as applied to physician compensation, including examining recent DOJ enforcement actions and identifying high-risk compensation structures.
- Understand practical compliance strategies to evaluate high-performing physicians for contract and regulatory compliance.
