How to Make a Group Practice Perfect: From Formation to Termination (On-Demand Webinar)

Date: 12/04/25

Closed captions are available.

Overview: The Stark law has a specific exemption for a properly formed Group Practice that allows physicians to break free from the hospital employment model and safely form as an independent practice. There are many requirements that must be met to be deemed a Group Practice. This 60-minute webinar discusses how to properly set up a Group Practice, as well as how to run it. As in all business relationships, termination requires an organized and compliant transition. Speakers discuss how to effectively and efficiently break way from this type of model. From "marriage" to "divorce," this webinar will ensure that physicians who embark on the Group Practice journey have needed tools for success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how to properly form a Group Practice to comply with Stark Law requirements.
  • Learn about terminating a Group Practice and how to ensure a compliant transition.
  • Identify the tools needed for running Group Practices from start to end.
