Overview: The first half of this webinar discusses how different states adjudicate disputes for out-of-network (OON) emergency care. Some states are guided by the federal No Surprises Act (NSA), while other states have their own unique systems that pre-empt the NSA. The second half of the webinar is a guided walkthrough of a typical Usual, Customary, and Reasonable (UCR) analysis. A UCR analysis establishes whether a given charge for a specific procedure is at a standard rate compared to the provider's wider community.
