Overview: The Senior Associate General Counsel in charge of Claims and Litigation will describe their experiences and recommendations in responding to discovery demands for privileged patient safety work product under the Patient Safety Act. The webinar will also provide a review of recent PSA court decisions along with litigation lessons learned.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Gain insight on how to coordinate internal resources, personnel, and outside counsel when responding to a PSWP discovery demand.
  • Assess and implement litigation strategies and understand the importance of supporting policies.
  • Identify and implement effective arguments in response to plaintiff's legal theories and court positions on the scope of privilege protections.
