Overview: This webinar discusses the legal and operational challenges surrounding minor consent and parental/proxy access to health records, including HIPAA's reliance on state law, variations in minor consent rights, parental access restrictions, record access requirements, technical and EHR limitations, information blocking considerations, and emerging legal developments.
