Overview: In this webinar the speakers examine Medicare and Medicaid billing issues that can arise during the change of ownership (CHOW) process and discuss what actions should be taken to minimize disruptions and/or denials of payment. Speakers focus on the steps for obtaining a tie-in notice from Medicare and how to bill the Medicaid program after entering into a provider agreement.  The webinar also discusses the different types of third-party payers and options for handling private pay funds.
